Did you know that San Diego provides foraging habitat for the Eastern Pacific green sea turtle? This small feeding population consists of about 60 individuals, and we will be on the lookout for these beautiful creatures while paddling through the Chula Vista Wildlife Reserve. Our naturalist guide will point out marine and bird life and teach you about local ecology and conservation efforts.
All equipment is provided: Kayak, life vest, binoculars, and field guides.

Join us on Saturday, October 28th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm as Downtown Chula Vista transforms into a beautiful and lively, cempacuchil filled celebration for the 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration!

This free community event will include fun for the entire family and is a great way for the community to come together to honor our loved ones that have passed, while still celebrating life. The celebration includes a community altar, an Altar Contest and Catrín/Catrína Ensemble Contest for cash prizes, music and dance performances from three different locations, kids crafts, treats, delicious food, vendors, themed photo opps throughout the neighborhood and a special screening of Guillermo del Toro’s Book of Life in the Memorial Bowl starting at 7:00pm!
