The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park

New Waterfront Venue

The Shell is located behind the San Diego Convention Center and downtown hotels offering stunning, panoramic views of the waterfront and downtown skyline.  The flexible layout is perfect for hosting a variety of events from seated galas to general sessions to private concerts and networking receptions.  Featuring a new, 13,000 sq. ft. stage, ancillary back-of-house facilities and state-of-the art production packages.  The catering is handled on-site with menus curated by celebrity Chef Richard Blais hi-lighting local San Diego menus and catering operations through Centerplate.  In partnership with the San Diego Symphony, the San Diego Padres are the exclusive event management company for The Shell. Our dedicated sales and planning teams are available throughout the entire process to ensure every detail of the event is executed perfectly.
