The BLVD Market, on the 3rd Friday of the month, is becoming one of San Diego's premier, outdoor food markets. At the corner of Utah and El Cajon Boulevard, The Boulevard Center, and newly restored strip mall has become a major contributor to the Boulevard's revitalization. Within the space, new tenants including Bluxom Salon and Heart & Trotter, a locally sourced, hormone-free butcher shop, have quickly become positive members of this reemerging business district, which is growing from its center at #30ECB.

With a common interest in locally sourced, sustainable products, local business owners expressed a shared vision of developing a monthly market to showcase to San Diego's highly regarded, up and coming chefs, and draw more and more people to El Cajon Boulevard's happening center. Each month, the parking lot will be transformed into a lively, serene outdoor market place.
