Giselle

Imagine the Supernatural!

Love, betrayal and the power of forgiveness in the shadow of Spanish Colonial California. A haunting rumination on romantic love and sacrifice. Artistic Director Javier Velasco’s evocative production shifts the locale from 19th century Europe to the pueblos of Spanish Colonial California. Featuring the spectral, beautiful Lloronas, the spirits of young women seeking revenge on the men who betrayed them. Classical dance in its most expressive and dramatic form.
